A lot of people think Valentines day is a day for romance and lovey-lovey stuff. I don't think so. It's time to love your friends and family, no matter how close they are to you. I'm going to make this post out to a bunch of people. I make it out to my mom, dad, and two brothers first. They are a huge part of my life. Ya, me and my brothers fight, but its what siblings do, but what can you do about that? My parents have pushed me to come as far as I am in swimming and I love them for that. I couldn't have made it to this huge meet without them. Without my mom and dad ratting on my with my bad parts of my swim but then about the great parts, even in a great race. I would like to thank them for loving me no matter what.
Next I would like to make this out to my best friend ever. She is there for me, even the 5,000 miles away we are. I love her so much and miss her insanely. We've been best friends since as long as I can remember. Becca Lelles. My best friend, sister, and practically part of my family. I love and miss you Bec. Congrats on your accomplishments, your pride, and everything you've done. I love you girl.
Now to Katie Baker. Katie is a life saver. She is also my best friend. I don't know what I would do without you Katie. Jon thanks you for letting me use your warm ups and so do me and my parents. I love you. See you Tuesday!
Kelly Lajoie. My best friend. My sister. One of my first friends here. She is funny, sweet, and cute. I love her so much for just being her. Its like we were meant to be best friends. She is there with me and follows me through my swimming life. I love you and thank you for being here and loving me too.
I would like to say congratulations to Katelyn for being a big sister again. I love and miss you.
So obviously, Valentines day isn't all the lovey-gooey-yucky stuff. You don't need that "special someone" to be happy on this day. Thank your friends and family and make sure they know they love you. Thank you everyone that has been with me.
Xoxo, Hannah
